Jennifer McGillivary

Jennifer specializes in preparing governance documents, supporting litigation cases, and has extensive experience in securities arbitration.
About Jennifer McGillivary

Jennifer McGillivary is Of Counsel with the Firm. Drawing on her prior experience, Jennifer prepares governance documents and filings for businesses and non-profit organizations. She also advises and prepares training materials for organizations and municipalities regarding governance meeting procedures and documentation. Jennifer supports litigation matters for municipal and civil clients and conducts internal investigations.

Jennifer is a graduate of St. Louis University School of Law. Upon graduation, Jennifer clerked for Hon. Rodney W. Sippel in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.

After her clerkship, Jennifer joined the commercial litigation department at Blackwell Sanders (now Husch Blackwell) focusing her practice primarily on securities arbitration. She then moved to Edward Jones where she practiced for more than 10 years in the areas of securities regulation, corporate governance, and trust administration. Jennifer has also served as an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) since 2008.

Jennifer has also mediated over 100 matters for the Better Business Bureau and arbitrated numerous cases for the organization. In addition, Jennifer taught a variety of courses at Saint Louis University, Maryville University, and University of Missouri-St. Louis, including Legal Research and Writing, Legal Environment of Business and Business Ethics.
